1) Browns with Blacks
I mean, please, we beg you, do not commit this sin. One of the biggest mistakes that most people out there make is they wear their brown jackets with the black t-shirt/ shirt inside. There is no reason why you should be doing this, the combination of black and brown do not go well together. You must combine the whole look with something lighter. Even if you want to go all dark and be macho, we recommend going with a single color. If you are opting for the black jacket, pair it with black jeans and black inners.
Brown and blacks look exceptionally good when they are worn separately. Mixing them up are a bad bad bad idea and all the fashion gurus highly agreed with it. Make sure you are not making the same mistake.
2) Summers and Leather Jacket
How summer-friendly you may think your jacket is, but wearing it in summer is another mistake that we highly discourage. Jackets are perfect for the winter season and it definitely goes without saying but people often and very often wears leather jackets on a hot sunny day. Do not do that, when you wear such a thing in hot summers, you automatically are quite uncomfortable in it. And when you are uncomfortable, it is obvious you would never enjoy whatever you are wearing.
We all love donning a leather jacket, but that does not mean you would wear it in the off-season. Some people carry leather jackets effortlessly all year long, but wearing the heavy ones is completely an off-fashion statement. However, if you do have some lighter ones, you can wear them but make sure it is all comfortable and not too suffocating.
3) No Over or Under Sized
One of the biggest mistakes that most people often make is they invest in oversized jackets considering that it is going to get them for some years. If you think buying a leather jacket is heavier on the pocket and you will not be able to afford it every now and then, therefore, it is better to get the jacket that is your size. Similarly, people often get undersized jackets it is quite rare but mistakes do happen.
You must always go for the jackets that fit you just right. Some outfits do look good when they are oversized but only the ones that are hoodies. The style does not really suit the leather jackets. Similarly, undersized t-shirts also look pretty cool with baggy jeans but then again, an over or undersized leather jacket does not really sit right with such clothes. When you are shopping online, you must make sure you are not missing out on the right sizes. Check the size chart and only then order!
4) Do not Accessorize
Accessories are good, they look pretty cool when people wear them but one thing that you must keep in mind is not to overdo them. People end up wearing tons of accessories on their jackets or their hands and then that just looks TOO much. Finding a balance is the key to having a proper fashion look. Women can get some cute leather handbag, or just a belt and some light jewelry to accessorize the look. However, do not wear them all at the same time.
All the small accessories have some small impact on your whole look. When you wear them all at different times they look better and get you a whole diva look. Wearing them all together at the same time would just end up making you look like you are someone who does not know much about fashion.
5) Wrong Bottoms
Pairing up with the right bottom is MUST when we talk about jeans or even shoes. You are doing it all wrong when you go for the random shoes while wearing the cool black leather jacket. Your leather jackets decide your whole look and with the right shoes you can ace up whatever you are wearing. Shoes and bottoms (including jeans and pajamas), you must make sure you are not messing them up in any way.
Whatever the fashion trend is going on, choosing the right shoes is very important. We often make the mistake of getting on the regular shoes and not pairing the dress up with the right ones. If you are looking for the safest choice to wear with your leather jacket, go with black shoes. You can never go wrong with black shoes.
