This is because taking some time for releasing all your frustrations on paper is a good way of relaxing the mind. For me personally, when I am stressed I tend to clean and decorate the house. Because for me the process of decorating the house and just seeing the results afterwards, gives such a calming sensation throughout my body.
Whenever I am feeling lazy or low, I start decorating. It is not necessary that you have to buy new items which you then incorporate into the house. What I like to do is, change the place of my decoration pieces, take them from one room to another and just like this, I tend to give a whole new look to the room.
Decorating your living space according to seasons:
Women especially in North West London decorate their living spaces according to the changing seasons. Like, we are nearly approaching fall and in fall seasons all the candles, the pumpkin decoration pieces, warm throw blankets with plush pillows tend to come out. The usage of bold colours and patterns for the throw blankets and the pillows tends to become more common. Though the fall décor does not mean that it is a holiday décor but it is just a way of telling yourself that the season is changing.
People who love to decorate will agree with me on the fact that changing seasons is just an excuse for re-decorating your house and transforming its look. We get fed up by seeing the same decorations around the house again and again. Plus, when I am decorating, I take my mind off the rest of the things and just try to focus solely on decorating so that I can create a masterpiece so that when I look at it later on I get a sense of serenity. And for me painting and decorating is just an excuse for letting go of all the worries that the world has to offer.
